San Marcos

San Marcos is situated about 30 miles north of San Diego and only about 6 miles inland from the ocean.  This thriving city is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in San Diego County.  It offers strong economic development, a low crime rate and an excellent transportation system.  It’s convenient to the freeway but still offers a small town feel. This area is home to the award-winning San Elijo Hills and other master planned communities with a nice range of prices and designs to choose from.  San Marcos offers diverse housing options, dozens of parks and 60+ miles of hiking & biking trails. It is home to an award-winning school district and several colleges and California State University San Marcos.  With a thriving business district and lots of delicious restaurant options, this city won’t disappoint. The weather is quite inviting too, with an average summer temperature of 77 degrees!
