Welcome To

Carlsbad is the casual coastal community where you’ll never run out of things to do. Carlsbad has been rated the best place to live by numerous magazines over the years for it’s beauty and beaches, and also for being a rising star as a tech hub in America.  With nearly 300 days of sunshine each year and an average temperature in the 70s, it is no wonder why so many people want to call Carlsbad home. Practically perfect weather isn’t Carlsbad’s only wonderful quality. Carlsbad residents are treated to seven miles of stunning white sand beaches, 67 miles of hiking trails, and over 20 public parks.

Carlsbad can cater to every taste, but families often find this slice of the coast very appealing. Expansive community parks, top-notch public schools, and epic beaches all create a great place to raise a family - but people move to Carlsbad because it is fun! The kids will have plenty of options to entertain themselves at the beach or elsewhere, but mom and dad can have the most fun. Treat yourself to a game of golf or spa day at the country club, then sneak out for date night when the kids are asleep. Carlsbad boasts one of the lowest crime rates in San Deigo County.

There are multiple neighborhood hubs in Carlsbad.  Whether it's the charm of the village in Old Carlsbad, La Costa's newer restaurants and attractions or Aviara's beautiful community, Carlsbad has something for everyone. Carlsbad is home to Legoland amusement park, the famous Carlsbad Premium Outlets and Omni La Costa Hotel + Spa. Some notable companies located in Carlsbad include tech giants like Viasat and Thermo Fisher Scientific and  golf industry companies like Puma, Taylormade and Calaway. So many companies call Carlsbad home, providing many jobs and contributing to making Carlsbad a special place to live and work.

Carlsbad is only 40 minutes north of the San Diego Airport and the downtown area.  San Diego “America’s Finest City” is where you can find world-renowned attractions like the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, San Diego Padres baseball stadium Petco Park  and the GasLamp entertainment district.
