Vista

Vista is located in the northwestern part of beautiful San Diego County. Vista is a Charter Law city, and was incorporated in early 1963 and became chartered in 2007. Vista is considered to be a mid / medium sized city in San Diego County, with a population that hovers around 100,000.

Although not incorporated until the 1960s, the history of Vista dates back to the 1880s, with the official establishment of a post office. The city continued to thrive and grow, and today is one of the most popular searches among San Diego County real estate.

Vista is a popular choice among California families, thanks to its network of more than 25 schools and educational opportunities. For parents, Vista is a great place to live and work, with a business park boasting more than 800 companies — a great environment for business and employment. In fact, Vista was ranked among the best places in California for families to live, thanks to several factors including recreational opportunities, family values, access to quality health care and education, the housing market and affordability.

The area that is currently known as Vista was originally inhabited by the Luiseno Indians, who called the land home until the San Luis Ray Mission was founded in the late 1700s. The Mexican government began granting land ownerships in Vista, and the area was granted into three ranchos: Rancho Buena Vista, Rancho Guajome, and Agua Hedionda y los Manos.

Vista, CA Real Estate and Homes for Sale in Vista, CA

The housing market remains stable in Vista, making it a sound option for real estate investment.
